Swallowtail cards

I have been re visiting some of my old stamp sets over the last couple of weeks. This Swallowtail butterfly stamp is one of my favourites. I used  sponge daubers to apply the ink in bands down the wings. Once the wings were covered with inks I went around the very edge of the stamp with Early Espresso ink on a dauber to create a uniform outline.

The sentiment is from the "Hopeful thoughts" stamp set. I think this set is one of the first S.U. sets I bought.

I enjoyed playing with this stamp so much I made a couple of versions.
Just changing the colours, the sentiments and shape of the card.
