Remarkable You stamp set .. Magnolia 3

Another  card using the magnolia stamp from the Remarkable you set. this time I have randomly stamped the bloom over whisper white card stock and coloured the images with Copic markers. I then cut the card down to fit on the front of  two  6x4 inch base cards.
The sentiment is from a retired set called riveting.

Remarkable you, Magnolia 2

Nothing spectacular about this card and I probably wouldn't have shared it, but I just wanted to show how well wallpaper samples can work on cards.
The glittery paper behind the flower is a small piece of that glittery wallpaper that is fashionable at the moment. The beauty of this glitter effect paper is there is no actual glitter to shed and make a mess.
Even better than that is wallpaper samples are usually free and this particular paper is available in teal, silver, gold and copper.

Remarkable You. Magnolia.

This is  another of the stamps in the "Remarkable You" set that took me a year to notice in the catalogue.  I think this flower is a Magnolia bloom.  I went a little mad with the colouring of this bloom and coloured more  of it than I intended.

I posted  this on social media and had a few questions on how I made this, so I have decided to add a few more pictures to this post with a few instructions.

1.Start by cutting one large circle. I used Nellie's  double stitched frame dies.

2.Using a smaller die cut a chunk out of the side of the large circle.

3. With the same small die cut small circle.  This circle slots into the cut out perfectly.
 To layer.
4. Using  two more  circle dies, just  one size down repeat the process taking care to take the same size chunk out of the larger circle. You probably won't get a perfectly even mount all round the little curve,  but it should be very close.

This stamp set, didn't jump out at me and say buy me, buy me. In fact it didn't appeal to me at all,  until I saw a couple of  really nice cards made by other people.  (It's called "Remarkable you,)
So I went back to the catalogue to take another look at it.   I still wasn't 100% sure this was a stamp set for me, but there wasn't anything  else in the catalogue  that I  really wanted and I needed to buy something to make my quarterly figures to get me out of pending.
This set is called "Remarkable you.
I was quite pleased with the way this card turned out.
The lily stamp only has two lilies.  I added the third  by stamping the image on another piece of card and cutting out one of the flowers and adhering  it between the stamped blooms. I drew in the third stalk in with markers.
