Thank You Card for Naomi

Well, it's taken a while but my Butterfly  Basics bundle finally arrived and this is my first card with the the set,  I have to say this is based on sample featured in the mini catalogue.

It was the featured card in the catalogue that made me want to buy this stamp set and die  bundle.

If you have seen the card the mini catalogue you will notice I have stamped a few extra images, used slightly different colours and added an extra set of wings to the butterfly.

As you can see in the photo there are three sets
 of wings on this butterfly.

The bottom set are  cut in a very shiny gold mirriboard.
The middle set  I cut in Blushing Bride card stock.
The top set I cut in white and sponged the edges with Blushing Bride ink.

I then stuck them altogether once the glue was dry, I cut small foam pads in half and place half a foam pad under each wing  as close as possible to the body of the butterfly to give each set of wings a little lift.

The last thing was to make a matching envelope  using the envelope punch board of course.

This card is to say Thank You to a colleague who helped me out big time today.
Without her kindness I would have been very hungry and thirsty today.
