I found a video on you tube from "valita's freshfolds" where she makes a a fir cone card, using the blossom builder punch. This is not a punch I own but I really wanted to have a go at making a fir cone.
After fumbling through my punch drawers I decided I could probably reproduce the fir cone using the five petal flower punch.
This is the result.
Do go to You tube and watch the video if you want to have a go at this one.
This lady is amazing and she has quite a few video s on You Tube that are well worth watching, a great source of inspiration.
Long may she continue.

Snowman Holiday Calendar
My Snowman was cut out from a large roll of white glossy card and painted with acrylic paints. He stnads about three foot to three and half foot tall.
This couldn't be an true advent calendar as there wouldn't be anybodyin school to open the last seven doors. So I made it a count down to the holidays calendar.
Of course all the doors were opened before they should have been, but that's kids.
I used old Christmas cards for the pictures behind the doors.
The numbers on the doors were cut using my S.U alphabet dies.
I am so glad I have those dies.
