Making stripey paper on th PC.

I love spotty and striped papers, but I always have difficulty finding it in the colour I need when I need it. So I decided to make some myself using my PC.
  .
I was surprised how easy it was to achieve.
I used Microsoft publisher to create the paper here.  I went into shapes, chose the rectangle shape and stretched the rectangle from the top to the bottom of the page, keeping the width of the rectangle to about 1/4 inch.
I then copied the  stripe and pasted it 1/4 inch away from the first stripe. I did this a couple more times, then copied all 4 stripes and pasted them again and again until I had covered the page. Then I started playing with colours and adding a line around the rectangle and changing the colour of the line. (see the floral and footballer card)  You will notice a fine black line either side of the blue.
I outlined the rectangle  in black to give a different look. I haven't  yet  tried creating multicoloured stripy paper ….That's on my to do list.

First Day at School Card.

I've been playing with these cute images again.
Just in different colours and with different backgrounds.
On the second card I used my Stampin' Up! score board to score a checkered pattern for  some added interest .

I have had quite a few different score boards over the years and I have to say the Stampin' Up score board is my favourite by far.
