A little wild baby card.

Today's post was inspired by  a card made by Dawn Griffiths.  Dawn used the Christmas tag set for her card.
I don't have that set,  so I used a similar style set called  "A little wild".
The animals in the set have a back and a front on the same stamp.
The idea is you stamp the image colour in both sides, die cut the image with the coordinating die then fold  it in half  add some ribbon or cord to complete the cute tag.
The tab for threading the ribbon/cord through is not wanted on this project so I cut it off.
I  mounted my gingham paper onto a piece of mossy meadow card and die cut a circle through both layers.

I laid the topper on the base card in the position and drew around the inside of the aperture to give me a a guide for my smaller circle die.
Then I die cut the circle out of my base card.
Cutting  this hole slightly smaller creates the white frame inside the gingham aperture on the front of the card. Glue the top layers in position.
The lion tag was folded in half.
Adhesive was  added to the inside of the tag and then squeezed together at the top, leaving the bottom edge open about 1/2 an  inch, so the feet of the lion can be stuck to the bottom of the aperture on the front of the card,  and the lions bottom is stuck to the inside of the aperture.
