Thank you for looking after me.

I have used this image a few times for get well cards, but this time I amusing it for a  7x7 inch Thank you  card for the team of nurses, doctors and tea ladies that took care of my every need during my eleven day stay in hospital. Well, not quite my every need, Hubby was brilliant too despite being ill himself.  He brought me a huge flask of ice cubes every day, along with anything else I requested from home, like my laptop, clean laundry and pillows ( there was a pillow shortage at the hospital). Ice cubes might sound like a strange request, but the water jugs they brought round twice a day were  so warm I almost threw up. I really can't stand drinking warm water so the ice cubes were a blessing.   My son is one of the chefs at the hospital, so I was spoilt with a cooked breakfast every morning much to the surprise of the staff and envy of the other patients. Even on his days off a cooked breakfast was sent up for me.

I have been home 2 weeks now and haven't really had any interest in going in my craft room until this week. I have to confess my concentration levels are low at the moment so when I get tired, I have to stop and rest and try to finish the project the next day.

I am not sure about the Thanks on this one... I may change it for a printed   "Thanks for looking after me".

LOTV Digistamps.

I have been working with my  LOTV Digi stamps the last couple of days.
I have really enjoyed re-acquainting myself with them . I  tend to go through fits and starts with stamps.  I'll work with a certain type/brand,  until I get bored  and then I'll move onto another type or brand for variety.
So I have a feeling my next few posts will all be using LOTV digital stamps.
