Happy Birthday Angie. 2016

Here is a card I made for my friend Angie's birthday last week. I used this years  free Sale a bration stamp set. It's called " What I love",  It's a two step photopolyer stamp set.
I die cut the oval panels, one in white and one in Blushing Bride card stock.
I stamped the solid stamp using Blushing Bride ink over 2/3 s of the  Blushing Bride oval.
Then over stamped using the outline stamp and Versamark ink and heat embossed the outline image in white.
The sentiment is from the Perfectly Penned stamp set.  This set is my all time favourite  greeting set.
I adhered the pink oval on top of the white oval.
I cut a panel of Blushing Bride card stock  a little smaller than my base card and stamped the edges with the outline stamp and Blushing Bride ink for a little extra interest. and mount the oval onto the  rectangular panel with foam pads and added the sentiment, a couple of rhinestones and the bow.
Confession time......
I had no intention of  adding the bow, but I managed to get a tiny ink smudge on the white oval and I needed to cover it up.

Sale a bration stamp set 2016

I had a little play today with the new Sale a Bration stamp set I got free with my last order.
I was supposed to be cleaning my craft room, but I got distracted by the stack of stamps sat on my desk.
I did however managed to sweep up all the die cutting mess on the floor before being distracted .But other than that nothing else got done in there.
Hubby came upstairs while I was making the cover for this little zigzag book and said, " so this is what you call finishing off the cleaning upstairs." and laughed.
Fortunately he  knows what I am like and how easily I get distracted by my crafting  stash.

To decorate the cover I used the new  " what I Love " photopolymer,  two step,  stamp set from Stampin' up.
I stamped the solid image first  in Blushing Bride ink and the leaves in Old Olive.
I over stamped the pink solid image with Versamark and the  flower outline stamp and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.
I adhered the blushing Bride  cotton ribbon to the back  before I glued on the floral back panel.
Now my little book is ready for me to add my smaller photos.
