Circle Circus Rattle

I was going though some boxes of cards I made a few years ago  and came across a card where I had made a babies rattle using the retired Circle Circus stamp set. I was  quite impressed with the way it came out when done in blue, Unfortunately, when I did the same card again in pink it looked dreadful.
So my mission last week was to produce another baby rattle card in pink on a completely different background.
This card doesn't photograph very well, so I should mention that the colour card stock and dsp I used is blushing bride.

Patchwork Challenge Card.

Well this one took me a little out of my comfort zone.  Not a great lover of patchwork at the best of times, but when I saw a challenge to do a patchwork card for any occasion, I remembered the hexagon punch sat in my craft room that  I had never used.  After a few minutes pondering I came up with the central part of the design the rest seemed to evolve as I went along.
I 'll post a list of products used but I don't think instructions are needed.
Products used on this project are all Stampin' up products.

Hexagon punch,
Circle Circus stamp set....( the centre of the ratttle)
Something Sweet stamp set (rattle handle and scalloped base)
Baby prints Stamp set  (sentiment)
Circle punch
Bashful blue ink  pad
 Bashful blue DSP
 Versamark ink pad
 Silver embossing powder

Stampin ' up edge dies.
Glue and card stock and a small bow.

A quick update on the challenge....  I was notified yesterday that this card WON the challenge.
\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\As you can imagine I was delighted and  very surprised.

Angie's candle

I used Circle circus stamp set and Rich Razzleberry to stamp on this candle.
I over heated it a little so it's a little uneven on the reverse but this is not a technique I have use often.... infact only two or three times and I am still practising along with my customers.
The next candle I stamped, I used Baroque motif stamp set and that came out fine.
I also made a box for it stamped with same stamp set and I gave that to my friend Ang who very kindly hosted a home work shop. But I forgot to take a photograph of it.

Baby Card

This one is alot more involved and all products used are from stampin up.

I first punched 5 scalloped squares in bashful blue card stock and four white squares I stamped the squares using two stamps from the circle circus stamp set and daubed the edges with bashful blue ink.

On a square of bashful blue card. I then worked out where I wanted to put my faux stitching and pricked through the card and drew in the stitches.

Then mounted the scalloped squares in the grid formed by the faux stitching.

I punched strips of white paper and ran it through the ribbler to form the lace. Then glued it to the back of the blue card and mounted the whole thing onto my bashful blue card stock.

The rattle .....I used the handle from something sweet stamp set and stamped it on white card stock in versamark ink. I then stamped the large floral circle stamp from the circle circus stamp set at the top of the handle and embossed it with silver embossing powder. Cut it out and dauded the edges with bashful blue ink added a blue bow and a greeting.
