Wedding Venue table plans plus

A few months ago you may remember I was designing and making name cards, table plans and table names for a colleague's wedding. These were my wedding gift to her and her intended.
I thought you might like to see how they all turned out. I didn't really want to post the pictures before the wedding just in case the bride and groom were keeping their theme under their hats, so to speak. Now the wedding is over,  I am free to post pictures.

The bride has very kindly sent me some of her photos to use in this post.

Above is a lovely photo of the name cards we stamped and Paloma wrote the names on and even had a go at stamping the flowers.

To the left is a double sided table name that stood on a tall clip stand.

Each table  was named after one of the flowers in her beautiful bouquet.

As you can see everything
came together beautifully.

I adore these white bird cages with these gorgeous floral arrangements inside.

The A3 posters  I made by using my tiny light box to write out the larger script.

Using a very large calligraphy nib and black drawing ink.

I am totally useless at  printing by hand,  so I used  alphabet dies to cut out the names and date to complete this poster.

I took photo's of these posters in a cello bag as I was terrified of getting marks on the completed posters, especially as I had, had three attempts on each poster before I was happy with it. So I apologize for the glare from the bags.

The light bulb on my light box blew as I was nearing the end of the project at around 2.30 am.  I didn't have a new bulb to replace it.  I freaked out a little and doubted that I 'd be able to complete the posters before the morning without it.

I remembered  I had another small but very dim light box  stashed away which  was just about bright enough to enabled me to complete the last part.

But hey!  what an excellent excuse to invest in a new light box... a much bigger and brighter one.

The next thing to do was stamp the edges so they matched with the name place cards and table names.

I used   Stampin' up's    Stippled Blossom stamp set to decorate all the stationary.

Paloma mounted  the  posters onto burgundy card and framed them in these lovely white frames.

They didn't look like much until they were framed and  were given a burgundy border then they looked  pretty classy.
I love the shabby chic look Paloma has created and her  colours  scheme is so warm and rich.

The table plans were printed off onto A4 card stock stamped and then mounted burgundy card stock.

Hubby had bought home some very large sheets of ultra  thick chipboard, which were the perfect size for the table plans.
Paloma stuck narrow strips of wood on the back to keep it rigid, then painted both  sides white.

The table plans were then adhered to the board  along with the lettering.

The board was placed on an easel at the venue.

I have added a photo of the happy couple to finish this post.
I wish them  both a  very long and happy life together.
Thank you so much  Paloma  for  allowing me  the use of your photos.

My apologies for the awful spacing  and the layout of this post. I seem to be having  some issues with my blog tonight.
