Bridal cushion

I have spent this weekend making this little Ring cushion.
My first problem was how to turn my sewing machine on, it's been quite a while since I used it.
My second problem was,
I had forgotten exactly how to make the ribbon rose, my first attempt was a bit tight and looked more like a Clarkia than Rose. But as Lucy said on Friday " you 'll get there in the end " and I believe I did.
Now I just hope that this is ok For the Bride and Groom.
It's about 10" across excluding the lace edging and has a Ribbon Strap underneather for young Harry to slide his hands into so he does not have to scrunch up the lace edges.

Weddding Garter and pillow box

A photo of the pillow box with the garter. Unfortunately the garter looks looks white in this photo, it is actually ivory with blue ribbon rosebuds and a blue crystal heart dropper (a wedding pressie from my sister) not really visible on the blue background.
I was so eager to give the last garter I made to my step daughter that I forgot to photograph it.
So I have used the garter I made for my wedding.

Wedding Card

Same design, just different colour and central stamp. I would have added a crystal to the rings but didnt have the small ones in the right colours.

Wedding Invitations

wedding invitations were approved and I have just finished making the last of the matching evening invitations and RSVP cards. So it's been a very busy ten days or so.
