I saw a beautiful version of this card on Pinterest, but it didn't make sense to me. I maybe wrong, but I think it was designed to lay flat as it had a support built in to prop the top black layer up as though it were a real piano. So I decided to change it up so that it stands up like a regular card.
I used black glossy card for the top of the piano and Stampin' Up's "Sheet Music" background stamp behind the piano top.

Sorry for everything.
I have been playing with post it notes again.
Sponging various coloured inks over the edges of the post its to form the coloured section.
Leaving the post it's in place, I over stamped the coloured section using the French foliage stamp set and dark brown ink.
The sentiment came from the "Sorry for everything" stamp set from S.U.

Everything Eleanor
This card came in the post from my upliner Amanda to mark my 3rd Anniversary with Stampin' Up!
I didn't expect to recieve this as I thought she may have forgotten about little old me.
I can't get to many of her training sessions so I very rarely see or hear from her. You know the old saying .....Out of sight out of mind. So this was a lovely surprise.
I think this has to be my favourite card from Amanda. I really love the colours she has used and the flourish stamp in the Everything Eleanor stamp set.
Thank you Amanda.

Sharon's Christmas card and gift
This card was sent to me by my lovely friend and guest artist Sharon.
Here Sharon has used the lovely as a tree stamp set to create this gorgeous card. I love the circle accent she has created by stamping a second image, punching it out, inking the edges and sticking it over the first image she stamped using sticky foam pads and carefully matching up the designs.
A very effective card yet very easy to do.
Thank you Sharon I will be having a go at this one in the near future.
The second gift I received from Sharon was this cute sweetie holder. Here Sharon has topped off the bag with a cute punch art Santa.
I have to say when this arrived I had to text Sharon and ask where she got the narrow bags from.....I was very surprised when she text back and said they're in the stampin up catalogue.
I hadn't noticed them in there, so guess what's going on my next order.
Sharon sent me a third item but when I photographed it I hadn't noticed a piece of sticky tape that had stuck to the bottom and was poking out a little making it look a bit odd so I will re photograph that and post later.

Paisley Card.
Hubby bought me this paisley background stamp on Ebay and it arrived today, delivered by the postman who folds my mail....Yes, I had a few words with him about it.
I took a break from the ironing to have a quick play.
I adore these metal frames in the hodge podge kit from stampin' up, they are so classy.
