Red plane and simple card
Wow!!! this was a hard card to photograph. Apologies for the photo quality but I have given up, If I had the energy and inclination I would go and dig out the studio lighting but all that effort for one card, I think not.
Here is another card using the plane and simple stamp set along with the texture wheel, I am hooked on this wheel.

Sandra'S Card
yesterday for a
dear friend who lost her mother
recently.
I needed to come up with something quickly and bereavement cards are not cards I like making.
So I picked up my Stampin'up catalogue and had a look in there for some Ideas.
That is where I found the idea for this card. I have changed quite a few things, the colours the amount of tearing, the greeting and added a bow, but it's basically the same card.
The moral of this story is if you get stuck for ideas have a look in your catalogue at the idea s there. You can modify the cards to suit your materials or taste.

Flower Card
Another of the projects we made yesterday on our training day in Soberton.
You may have noticed I don't use buttons very often in my card making , I am not a great lover of buttons but I actually quite like the use of buttons on these projects.
We used the printed petals stamp set for the flower on this card.

Sale a bration stamps..... Bliss
My free set of sale a bration stamps arrived yesterday in my order... I did say I couldn't wait to get my hands on this set didn't I. lol
This is another card I have cased today. I love this..... it's just so lovely, so elegant, classy, chic.
The original didn't have a ribbon and to be honest it doesn't need a one, I just fancied adding one.
Hubby doesn't like the torn edges on it. Which amazed me, .....he likes his torn jeans and T shirts un - ironed so I thought this would be right up his street.
I better not give it to him for Valentines Day then . lol
Autumn card
So that is what I have done today.
If you are one of the original creators of one of my cased cards. I have to say thank you for sharing and I love your cards.
We in the UK don't have the full range of Stampin'up products, so sometimes we have to use substitute stamps and products.
I have changed parts of some cards for that reason. Probably just as well we don't have the full range here, I'd go bankrupt. lol.
Anyway for this card I used the autumn splendour, perfect punches stamp set and the large oval punch.
Inks, so saffron, pumpkin pie, red riding hood, bravo burgundy and old olive to randomly stamp the leaves.
For the hinged edge I screwed up a piece of burgundy card stock over and over again until it was really wrinkled. I then smoothed it out and peeled the card layers apart . This left me with two pieces of card that looked alot like suede. I took the red riding hood ink pad and rubbed it all over the suede side of my card . I tore one edge and cut the other three to fit my card.

All at Sea
Here's one for a little man.
I cut a white circle and a red scalloped circle
Then cut four strips of bashful blue card and snipped away at one edge to create the waves then daubed the waves with bashful blue ink.
The boat is just a circle cut in half and three triangles of different sizes.
The clouds were daubed on using a scallop circle as a mask.
Once all the pieces were assembled I mount the scene onto a square of stampin' up designer paper added a strip of red then mounted the whole thing onto my real red base card.

Punch art ideas
Two more punch art items the bat wings were made from two of the middle size oval punch from SU. I cut away the wings with a small circle punch. The body and head are just circles with a dimension in between.
For the penguin I used the word window and a circle for the hat.
Ovals in all sizes for the body and wings the head and eyes circles.
The feet were created with the boho blossoms punch.
Santa's helper

Baroque
This was another of stampin up stamps I really wasn't sure of, but having done some research on what you can achieve with it and the fact it is being retired at the end of this month were reason enough for me to order the large baroque background stamp.
I swiped the ink pad over the stamp rather than tapping it as I wanted a streaked effect.
I used the new baja breeze ink pad with chocolate chip card and grosgrain.
Christmas Card
Serene snowflakes and lovely as a tree were the stamp sets used on this brayered background.
I used the brayer with bashful blue and night of navy ink pads. I then stamped the trees in black and with a dauber added some streaks in navy below the trees. I then stamped the snowflakes using versamark ink and embossed then with silver embossing powder.
