Sachet treat sleeve

I have a small treat sleeve for you today It's very easy to make and requires very little in the way of materials.  This is ideal for when you just want to give a token gift that you could pop in the letter box along with a card to somebody that's maybe feeling under weather.
I made this one to fit a sachet of Galaxy instant hot chocolate, but these can be adapted to fit pretty  much any  size sachet, instant soup or cappuccino sachets for instance.
It would probably work with a bar of chocolate or a gift voucher, anything that is fairly flat.   I haven't tried those yet.
The  majority of the ribbon is hidden inside the sleeve and it's purpose is to pull the sachet out of the sleeve.

All you need to make this is a piece of card  that is twice the width of your sachet plus an extra 1  1/2 inches  by the length of the sachet plus an inch.
You'll also need a piece of ribbon  just over three times the length.

For example, The Galaxy sachet measured 2 inches across. So  my card measures 5 1/2 inches across.
The length of the sachet is 5 inches so my card measured 6 inches.
On the 5 1/2 inch side,  I scored at 2 1/2 inches and 5 inches.  Fold the score lines and glue the sides together.

If using a narrow ribbon, punch a small hole in the middle of the top edge about 1/2 an inch in from the top. If you're using a wide ribbon, cut a slot  the width of the ribbon in the top.

Thread the ribbon through the holes or slots, making sure you have equal amounts of ribbon either side. Now slide the sachet into the sleeve. The sachet will push the ribbon down to the bottom of the sleeve.

The bottom should look like this.

Hold the sachet in place firmly and tie a knot on the ribbon as close to the top edge as possible, without pulling the sachet out.

The ribbon is the mechanism to retrieve the sachet from the sleeve. As you pull the ribbon it draws out the sachet. Pretty neat I think.
You can decorate the sleeve and add a tag if you desire.
