Guest Artist Tracey George

Over the weekend I purchased  a retired set of stamps from another demo who is going  through a de stashing  period .
Well,  My set  arrived this morning along with this  lovely thank you  card.
To be honest, I  think I was more interested in the card than the stamps ...lol.
So with Tracey's permission I decided to share her card  here with you.

I think this is a happy, sunny  card.   It certainly  made me smile when I opened it and that makes it worthy of a post.

My next  reason for sharing this card is  because it's a totally different style of card to those I usually produce and  I thought,   it may make you smile too.

Tracey has punched out the larger butterfly from the top layer of card to reveal the polka dot DSP beneath.

The smaller butterfly has been punched out of the same DSP and adhered to the top layer of Whisper White card,  which  Tracey has stamped using the  splatter stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge set .

I am not sure what colour ink she has used, I am guessing it is Hello Honey. If I am wrong I am sure she will let me know.

I love the splatter stamp and use it quite a lot myself usually  in conjunction with other stamps it's  a great filler stamp for taking the starkness off a plain white background.

I was  surprised to see how Tracey has used the two punches for the greetings. I would never have thought of using the  scallop oval  on top of a plain oval.
I tend to use the scallop as the backing to an oval. So it was great to see how somebody else uses these punches.

I guess all that's left for me to say is thank you Tracey for this card which brightened my day......

OH and Tracey, it even got Hubby's seal of approval....and that takes some doing.

Well still flabbergasted that you've featured my little card!
These were made a while ago-so can't remember the exact shade,I'd put a batch of 5 different colours in a box with the same design on the front & needed a few quick-so these resurfaced! Thankyou once again,Tracey x
