Blog aiding my failing memory.

Sometimes there are days when I wonder why I keep a blog. I ask myself does anyone actually read all the stuff I write, apart from my hubby, who  always reads my posts to see if I have made any funny  references to him.

My aim when I started this blog was to show my creations and inspire new card makers and show just how easy card making can be.
Along the way,  I started adding   photo tutorials for the more complex cards,  which  gave the reader a step by step guide to making  the  tricky cards.

But what I didn't realize when writing up each of these posts was  just how useful they would be to ME further  down the line.

I was recently asked to reproduce a card I had made a long time ago and I had completely forgotten how I had made the original card.
Fortunately I had written a tutorial on that particular card, so all I had to do was look it up on my own blog.
I was so glad I had taken the time to post my cards and tutorials as they have now become useful to me.

Which reminds me, I really need to look up the name of the company I bought those beautiful diamante buttons from.

That was one of the reasons I started blogging - to keep track in one place of my creative projects and you're right, it does come in handy when you want to recreate something. Or make sure you don't do the same things for the same people!
