Stamparatus Positioning Tool

 When Stampin' Up launched the Stamparatus positioning tool,  I thought what on earth is all the fuss about.  It's no good to me as I buy the wood mounted stamps, so I had no intention whatsoever in purchasing this gadget.
A few months later and after watching a couple of Stampin' up's videos,  I started to think,  this thing might actually be useful.
Not only could it be useful, but it could eventually save me money and space. 
The clear stamp cases are half the thickness of the wood mounted cases so that means,  I can fit twice as many stamp sets on my shelves.

As the clear sets are considerably  cheaper than the wood mounted sets the Stamparatus will pay for itself  in next to no time.

You can guess what I did next..... Yes,  I ordered it.

I have been playing with the Stamparatus for a couple of days now. 
I have to say, I am so pleased I talked myself into buying it. 

 How many times have you stamped an image and have it turn out patchy like this. 
There is nothing you can do to salvage it. You just have to turn the card over and try again.
Well, that is not the case anymore if you use the Stamparatus and  the clear or polymer stamps.

It is now possible to re ink the stamp and over stamp the first image with complete accuracy.
I didn't choose the best stamp to demonstrate this as this stamp,  is meant to give a distressed image.
 I  re inked the stamp and over stamped the first image. As you can see it looks far better for a second coat of ink.

My  next experiment was to forget to re ink the stamp before stamping.
This time I chose a stamp with a fine line design to see if I lost the fine line if I stamped over the image a second time.

As you can see the design is still clear and crisp and the bauble is a nice solid colour.
This is the main reason I am delighted with this tool.
