Plane and Simple

Another card using the Plane from the plane and simple stamp set. You are going to be so bored by the end of todays blog entries. lol This one is Black and white, No camera or lighting tricks on this one.

Notice the polka dot back ground, I got my new embossing folder last night. The Greeting was stamped using with S.U's white craft ink onto black card.

Flower Card

Another of the projects we made yesterday on our training day in Soberton.
You may have noticed I don't use buttons very often in my card making , I am not a great lover of buttons but I actually quite like the use of buttons on these projects.
We used the printed petals stamp set for the flower on this card.

Giraffe Card

I have finally decided ,my New favourite colours are Stampin' up;s Cherry cobbler, Pacific point and Marina mist. Ihave really enjoyed having a play with all my new goodies. Today I thought I would have a go at punch art. Not something I have ever seriously tried before, but hey!!! I have new punches so why not give it a go. Here are some of the things I produced.Fran will think this is the giraffe I half heartedly made months ago and she named George. Sorry Fran, this is his baby brother. lol. He is smaller than George. He is made from an assortment of oval and circle punches.

I used bashfull blue ink and a dauber plus a scallop circle to do the sky.

The tree tops are old olive card punched out using the scalloped circle and oval punches.

Click on photo for larger image and use the magnifier.

I have Yet to put the greeting on this card and I think it has to say......... Hi

Moving house Card

For this I used the now retired stamp set loads of love and loads of love accessories. I daubed the sky with bashful blue ink and used my daubers to put in some streaks of green then over stamped with the tree. I stamped the pick up onto patterned paper it cut out , I cut out the window too.
I added a white piece of card behind the window on which I had stamped the couple added some acetate for the window.
I used so saffron ink for the ground.
I mounted the picture onto green card stock after I had punched the corners, then punched the corners again. The brads are faux brads using the technique I wrote about in the instructions for the waistcoat card below.
