3 versions of same style card

Here I've have been playing  around with the same style card just changing the papers sentiments.   On the first card I heat embossed the greeting in gold. I added a white satin knotted ribbon rather than a bow.
I used Stampin' Up 's  Birthday Wit stamp set for the sentiment on this second card.
I added some red organza ribbon to take this one a step further.

I  used a smaller Pool Party bow on this card for a less fussy look.

Birthday wit card 2

Another card  using a sentiment from the birthday wit set.
I have used some DSP for the background. This background paper is from the retired pack called Parker's Piece.
This card is a 6x6  inches.

Birthday wit card.

Earlier in the week I decided to play with the Birthday wit stamp set.
For this card I stamped the background paper using lots of little foliage stamps that I bought from a craft show a few years ago. the colours  I used were Concorde crush,  Granny apple green, lovely lilac and smokey slate.
The sentiment I stamped in Concorde crush and the stmaped it again in Granny apple green. I cut out the Happy Birthday and stuck it over the  Happy Birthday I'd stamped in purple.

Diet /allergy card

When I saw this in the new  S.U. spring/summer catalogue,  I just had to have it.
This almost sums up our new diet.
Since  I was diagnosed as being pre diabetic three months ago, we have made some major changes to our diet to avoid me becoming diabetic and needing medication.
I have to say the Keto diet does actually work.  The result of my last blood test proved this.
I've also managed to lose some weight, not as much as Hubby who has lost 2 stone,  but every lost pound is a bonus.

It's not an easy diet  to follow when you' ve been  a carb junkie for many years.
Checking the carb content on everything we buy, making every meal from scratch and finding keto recipes that we will all like is a bit of a bind, but worth it for the end results.
