LOTV Cards

I coloured this image and then got ink on the upper part of the card which meant I couldn't use the image as it was, so my idea was to cut off the top section completely and stick it on a new background. I think this  works well.  I call this a happy accident card.  I didn't cut out the section between the tripod and the photographer I cheated and coloured the section in with a Copic marker... Luckily I had one that matched the card. I liked the effect so much I decided to see if it works other images.
I heat embossed the sentiments in white in these cards.
Another LOTV  digital  stamp. I really like the cuteness of these images and yes I think this half cut technique works with this image too.

I think this one would have worked better if  I had cut it  further down.
And back to my old style for this one.

International Talk Like a Pirate Day

Now you may not know it or believe it,  but September 19th is... International Talk Like a Pirate Day.
On occasions Hubby likes to talk like a pirate and crack pirate jokes. But every year we  seem to miss it.  Much to hubby's disappointment.
When I saw this image, I thought not only would it would make a great card for one of the grandsons, it would also make a fun card for Hubby on International Talk like a Pirate Day.
(I must remember to write the date on the calendar)
Image coloured with Copic Markers.
The blue background is NOT as vibrant as it appears in this photo.

Thinking of you,... on your first day at school.

I loved this cute image from lili of the valley.
I think it's the perfect image for a child just starting school or changing schools.

This is a digital stamp and these can be resized to suit your needs.

I coloured this image with Copic markers.

Kenny's Card.

Another digital Stamp from  Lili of the valley.
I bought this image  to make a card for  our nephew Kenny.
Kenny is into all things Fire Brigade  related. So this image seemed fitting for his birthday.
He is also into gnomes and has a rather extensive collection of them. so a gnome fireman would have been even more appropriate, if I could have found such an image.

Just for fun and to make up for lack of a gnome on his card,
I made him some pillowcases with gnomes on, so he can sleep with them too.

Get Well Card

I thought this cute Lili of the valley image would make a great Get Well card.
Another image that  fell into my shopping basket while trying to help a fellow crafter.  Yes,  that's you Josie. ha ha ha.
I couldn't resist the cuteness of this image.
Besides, I really don't have that much in the way of stamps for Get Well cards.
It's a digital stamp  so this image can be resized to fit your project.

I enjoyed colouring this image so much,  I had to do it again,  but changing the colours.
