Tanya s 50th Birthday

This was  a card  I made for my friends sister  who was 50 over the Christmas Holiday. Allison wanted the card to have a  gardening theme as her sister's passion is gardening.                                                                                                                         I used some dsp paper from SU  mounted onto some silver foiled card and then  wrapped a piece of blue grosgrain from top to bottom and  adhered the ends to the back of the card before sticking it onto the base card. The image was mounted onto silver foiled card and then onto sticky foam pads and stuck over the grosgrain . I tied a bow in the same grosgrain and using glue dots stuck below the image. I printed off the greetings and hot foiled them, then cut them to resemble seed labels and tucked them behind the bow. The next step was to stamp and cut out the butterfly, add some sparkles and glue it to the label.

The last tasks were to print and hot foil the insert and make the box.
