Dressed to impress

Another girly card using the "Dressed to impress" stamp set.
Here I have used the script embossing folder to emboss the front of the pink card.
I could have used the coordinating DSP for the front panel resulting in a much busier, more flowery card. But not everyone likes busy, flowery cards. So I decided to embossed the front panels instead.
Here's another version this time in lilac and a little more flowery in a subtle way. Again I have changed the size, shape, composition and colours of this card.

dressed to impress

I like the images in this stamp set,  but I wasn't sure about buying it for two reasons, the first being because it's a photopolymer set and I don't usually get on too well with them and secondly because I couldn't think of a single person I know that this sort of stamp set would be appropriate for.
I ended up buying it because I was running out of options in the catalogue.
I am glad I purchased it.  I have enjoyed playing with it and colouring the images.
I still don't know anyone that this type of card would be appropriate for.

This  5x5 inch card  was created by stamping the rose at the bottom  first and masking it off.            Then I stamped the first tube of lipstick  over the masked off rose.                                                              I masked off the lipstick and then stamped the second tube slightly overlapping the first and a little higher to give the impression it was slightly behind the first. Then I masked off the second tube.              I stamped the second rose and masked it off before stamping the bottle over the masked off objects.

The next step was to remove the masks and colour the images.

Using two square dies I cut a frame to fit the coloured image and adhered the frame over the image before and attaching to a 5x5 base card.

This card is a 7x5inch card. I only used the lipstick stamp once on this one. I also left the second rose off.
This set is called " Dressed to impress" and is available from Stampin' up now.
There is a 6x6  designer series paper to go with this set.
I use copic markers to colour all my stamped images.
