For this pocket invitation I used a A4 sheet of red card (landscape) and scored at 1/2" then at 5 1/2" and again at
10 1/2" and trimmed off the excess. Turning the sheet to portrait, I scored 1/2" in and all the way along, I then cut off ONE of the narrow rectangle the scoring had created. Leaving the other narrow rectangle as the flap for my adhesive. I then folded on all the score lines and added extra strong double sided tape to the flaps and pressed it altogether firmly.
Using the baroque motif stamp set i stamped the large scroll stamp using versamark ink and embossed with gold embossing powder.
I cut another piece of red card slightly smaller than the finished width and length of the pocket printed off the wording for my invitation onto light weight white card stock, stamped and embossed the corner then mounted it onto the the red.
I think we have a pretty stylish invitation here.
