For this 6 x 4 inch card I used two of the foxes from Lavinia stamps plus a few foliage stamps to create this moonlit scene.
The background was created by squishing several colours of distress oxide ink pad onto an oven sheet then spritzing the patches of ink with water and dipping water colour paper into the watery ink.
After the paper had dried, I splattered water droplets over the card, and let it sit for a while before blotting it off. The longer the water sits on the card the colour will be removed. Once the card had dried I used a piece of scrap paper to cover most of the top section, and brushed green ink over the bottom to create the land. I die cut a circle from a post it note to make a mask. I placed it in my sky. Then with a blending brush and a tiny amount of green ink on the brush, I brushed over the edges of the circle. Always starting in the middle of the mask, to avoid harsh ink patches. I removed the mask and
began to stamp the foxes and foliage.
I made the mistake of drawing lines with the stickles glitter, which I think ruins the scene. I think it would have been a lot better had I dotted glitter here and there rather than putting it on in lines.
