Card made from Christmas cracker
Boxing day Hubby and I went to my sister's for a meal.
During the course of the meal my eye kept being drawn to the pretty holly patterned Christmas crackers that lay in pieces on the table.
I couldn't help but wonder how I could re use them.
I gathered up a few pieces and placed them in a pile ready to stash in my handbag...When I wasn't looking my brother-in -law gathered them up and took them off to the bin.
Bin diving is not my favourite past time, so I sent my sister after him to rescue them before they got soiled and damaged in the bin.
This is a gate fold card I made with one of the Christmas crackers and a die cut sentiment, which I covered in red glitter.
I am not a fan of gate fold cards.
I am never sure what position to stand them in to show off the whole card, so I tend not to make them.

Tattered Teddy Bear Thank You Card.
I've had little time for card making of late and to be honest I have been a little short on inspiration too. Partly due to illness and partly due to other commitments.
So you'll have to bear with me for a while as I create simple cards to try and get back into it.
This card was a quick card for a little boy.
I used Sue Wilson's Madison Square die for the filigree frame on this card. I stamped the Tattered bear image using Memento black ink and coloured it using Copic markers.
I stamped The greeting onto white card and punched it out using the Word Window punch from SU.
I stamped the bear a second time and coloured only the arms... I punched out two small circles from the spare arms for the paws and adhered them each end of the " Thank You ".
On the back of the "Thank you" I placed several thin foam sticky pads to lift and bring the greeting forward.
