Something Saucy for Valentines Day.

Here's something a little saucy for Valentines Day. all done in Bashful Blue and Whisper white
card and ink.

First step for this card was to make  up a template for the corset and bust.

Once happy with my  template,  I stamped up some whisper white card stock using Versamark ink and the lace background stamp,  using  a pale blue embossing powder , I  heat embossed the image.

Then I cut out the bust and  corset parts and sponged the edges with a little ink.

After folding the the corset in half  I punched a series of  small holes along the  folded edge for lacing  the ribbon.
Then assemble all the parts using thin foam pads to give the bust a little dimension.

The choker flower was made from the left over card from the corset using the  SU  Boho flower punch.

The stamp used on the corset is the beautiful background stamp from Stampin' up called
 "I LOVE LACE".

The background papers were created with Stampin' up's,   stampin ' round wheel stamps
 ( now retired.)

The stick insect and the busty wench.

I hope all of this makes sense, feeling very tired and need my bed.  If you need further advice just ask .

Time for bed now.

I Love Lace Birthday Card.

I have been dying to get my hands on this lace background stamp.
The moment I saw it in the new catalogue I said to myself  I'm having that.

It is such a beautiful design and so delicate, how could I resist it.
I love it. I have so many  things I want to try doing with it, when I get a bit more time to play.
It's a stamp that is going to be very versatile. I can see this being
great for wedding cards , Valentine's , anniversaries, birthdays and vintage cards.

It's a large background stamp called "I love lace"  and it's in the new stampin up catalogue.

Here I have stamped just half of the stamp on to Cherry cobbler cardstock using
 Memento black ink.
I also added some crumb cake ribbon  and a bow.
I punched out  some flowers  using the Boho three flower punch and shaped them with a large ball tool.
I added some rhinestones and pearls to the centre of the flowers .

The birthday sentiment is from a stamp set called "Perfectly penned" again from SU.

Bird House Gift Box mini egg size

The S.U milk carton die converted into  the  perfect little bird house for those revolting, smaller eggs that seem to be in the shops all  year round.

Fortunately at this time of year other confectionery  companies bring out their versions of mini egg, which a generally much nicer and they too fit perfectly into  this little bird house gift box.

 Materials & Tools:

Milk carton die  S.U plus die cutting machine
Bird punch S.U
Boho Flower Punch
circle punches... one very slightly smaller than the other.
card stock
Small shiny black gemstone
Ribbon

To help keep the egg in position I made a little stand with a hole in the centre.

Sister Card

I am not sure I should be posting this now as it's my sisters birthday card. Her birthday was last week birthday and I won't see her until  middle of next week.

She says she never goes on my blog, so I guess I am safe in posting this.

I used the Amazing Family stamp set from Stampin' Up!  (see  below)   along with white craft ink ( also from S.U) to stamp the  greeting and the decorative edge to the black base card.

I used S.U's  designer series paper for the pink spotted background.
Pretty in pink ribbon.

The flowers were punched using the  Boho three flower punch, which I layered up and added just a touch of pink ink to the edges.
I bought this punch some years ago thinking I wouldn't use it that much, But this punch is a little gem and use  more than I ever thought it would be.

The leaves were punched using the three in one bird punch.
The bird punch was an impulse buy because it was cute and new.
I rarely use  the bird on this punch  but the leafy branch I use a lot.

Hope Mandy likes this one.
Happy Birthday Sis.

Versamark resist

My cupboards are all built, and are filling up fast.
Craft room is almost sorted, so took a few minutes out from the sorting and shredding of 20 years of paperwork and the cleaning today to have a play.

I love the versamark resist technique.
Lot's of chocolate chip ink applied with the brayer over the french script image,
which I had stamped using versamark ink and allowed to dry before applying the chocolate chip ink.
I punched some flowers using the three in one boho punch and vanilla card stock, daubed the edges, shaped and added a flat back pearl to the centre of each.
Hope you like this one.
