This card I made for my lovely Mother in law who got married 74 years ago.
WOW!! 74 years most people are lucky if they live that long.
She will be 98 years old in two weeks time and she still has all her marbles.
I have to say this is always a difficult one for me, as she was widowed some years ago. I am never sure if a wedding anniversary card is for the couple to celebrate completing another year of marriage or if it is to remember and celebrate the day they married.
My father in law may not be with us, but it is still HER wedding anniversary. so I send her a card to mark the day she married.
This year I used the gorgeous 3D Ornate Lace embossing folder from Crafters Companion. The Embossing folder took ages to arrive in the post so this was a somewhat hurried card. I wasn't sure about the flower on this card when I came to photograph it and after a couple of people on FB expressed doubts about it too, I changed the flower to a bunch of 3 small red carnations and 2 white roses. I think her bouquet was red carnations.
