A Michelle Last card

I have long been a fan of Michelle Last's work and when I saw this card on her blog I just had to have a go at making  it.
It was Michelle s blog that introduced me to Stampin' Up.
I saw a beautiful stamp there, that I just had to have.
But there was a problem with her contact me button and there were very few demonstrators in the UK at the time to order it from.  So it was two years before I got that stamp. I have owned it for  two years now and it is still one of my favourites.  Bet you're wondering which stamp set it is now hee hee...... Well I'll tell you, It's the Baroque Motif set.
It appears I am waffling  so I'll  go back to telling you about this card.
I changed this card a little as I don't own  the stamps Michelle used.  (If you want to see the original pop over and visit Michelle s  blog)

I  adapted the back of the card by cutting the back 2  3/4" longer than the front, then  scoring and cutting  to form the pocket to hold this chocolate love token.
It's held in place with a sticky foam pad to stop it moving round or slipping out.
I decorated the outside of the pocket with the worlds most expensive stamps.  They are a set of stamps I ordered from the USA and by the time I had paid all the charges to get them here on top of the price of the stamps they turned into some very expensive stamps.

Anyway there are a lot layers here and combined with the weight of the chocolate it turned out to be a pretty weighty card and farm too thick for an envelope, so a matching box was required for this one.

After these photos were taken I added my personal greeting on white card and stuck it opposite the token.

I have added a very rough sketch below so you can get an idea of how I created my pocket.  The red lines are the fold lines. I used the red line double side tape to stick this together.
Hope it makes sense if not feel free to ask questions.
