Not card related I know but couldn't resist sharing my first Yule log with you .
I would give you a slice if I could.
I have never liked Yule logs because as a child I remember the icing being very sweet and sugary and I really dislike butter frostings.
But this year I was inspired to have a go at making one after watching a TV show on making one without butter frosting.
This Yule log is covered in Ganache (double cream and melted chocolate) and Oh boy is it yummy. The only sugary bits on this cake are the holly leaves and berries which I made from icing.
